Thank you to my clients for their trust, inspiring work, and kind words…

“I’m a nurse of 40 years. In this experience, I’ve worked in adult and pediatric emergency department including psychiatric settings. I’ve also been on a clinical research team studying the effects of psychoactive treatment.  The guiding principle for psychotropic treatment is ‘Set and Setting’. ‘Set’: what is your intention for taking a psychoactive medication. ‘Setting’: creating a safe and comforting environment for the journey.

My experience with Dawn as my hypnosis guide has been transformative. Dawn is an amazing active listener. She asks questions that allowed me to explore my inner space, my challenges, my anxiety and my goals. With this intake, Dawn guided me through my inner world. I made friends with my fear, my anxiety. This allowed me to notice this part of me and invite them on the journey.

In my personal experience, hypnosis can give similar effects / outcomes as medical options based on therapy with medication.

AND the tools for integration are always with you after you learn to Set your intention, create the Setting and engage with yourself.  You are able to practice the hypnosis journey wherever, whenever you need to.

So grateful for my experience with Dawn. She is an empathetic, ethical, well trained practitioner.”

“I can be very heady and intellectualize my feelings a lot, so talking about them isn’t always helpful for me. My experience of hypnotherapy was that it was able to slide in behind all that intellectualization, and shift my thought patterns behind the scenes, where my intellectual brain couldn’t interfere.

I got more done in one hypno session than I feel like got in ten years of talk therapy. After that session I felt my behaviors shift subtly but substantially. I would simply notice myself making a different choice than I would have before the session.

As a parent, I especially appreciated this. When I’m trying to handle all the logistics of parenting, plus co-regulating a small human, it’s even harder to consciously remember to change behavior patterns. To have my subconscious as an ally rather than an obstacle was extremely liberating.”

“Dawn is an amazing hypnotherapist. She's like the paleontologist-collaborator I didn't even know I needed, but am super grateful to have found.

Why, exactly? She deftly helps me to excavate deep within, to the roots of patterns and behaviors that no longer serve me and that I want to let go. And then, through numerous visualization techniques, guides me in ways to review / release / reframe the past and present, all while empowering me to manifest and step into the future that is most aligned with my purpose. And she does it all with love and kindness and compassion. Truly.

I feel seen by Dawn. Yet never judged. She honors our humanity, our struggles and our joys. Furthermore, she wants us to see, know, and become the best versions of ourselves. And with patience and immense skill, she guides us to revelation, while providing the tools to integrate the learnings in our day to day lives.

Amazing.”
