Change-Work.

Build inner resources, change unwanted patterns, and create a better relationship with yourself so you can be more connected, boundaried and intentional with others.

Individual sessions

I take a humanistic, holistic approach with hypnosis, and incorporate:

  • guided visualization

  • mindfulness

  • polyvagal (nervous system) theory

  • neurolinguistic programming

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS, or “parts work”)
    and more.

I help people heal anxiety, phobias, physical issues, pain, unwanted habits and more. My specialized areas of focus include:

Relationships: parenting, partnering, intimacy, and caregiving, with a specialty in supporting families raising neurodivergent children.

Life transitions: purpose-centered identity shifts like career moves, relationship changes and letting go.

Self-worth: anxiety, depression, and self-sabotage, substance overuse, improved stress response, and more.

(Dawn) guides us to revelation, while providing the tools to integrate the learnings in our day to day lives.

In addition to sessions I offer:

  • Private Rituals for Home or Gatherings

Mark a moment with a playful, bold, or tender hypnosis ritual: birthdays, new homes, or new chapters.

  • Public Hypnosis, Rituals & Retreats

I host provocative and delightfully interactive hypnosis events for groups.

  • Audio & Commissions

Audio is intimate and there when you need it. Enjoy custom hypno-to-go or commission a unique gift for yourself or a loved one.

The hypnosis experience

During a hypnosis session you are completely in control and always able to make choices that feel comfortable along the way. This is a collaborative, creative modality that has its roots in humanistic psychology and deeply trusts the client’s own capability.

In contrast to that, there is something that can feel relieving about the idea of letting go and being guided by a confident steward who can help you go beyond your grasping habits of limitation. I aim to find the right balance between these two dynamics — safety and letting go — for each and every client.

To start, we talk for just a bit to get to know the change you would like to make. Then, as you sit or lay down, I will guide you into a deep state of relaxation, or trance, giving you more access to your subconscious mind as you engage in an interactive visualization.

At the end, you will have a moment to integrate and reflect. I typically like to give a short exercise or ritual to do at home to help further integrate the experience.

How we learn to focus the mind can change the brain. If we learn the basic approach of linking differentiated parts of our lives—our nervous systems and our social connections with others—we can move internally and interpersonally toward integration and health.
